Meteorological stations

Meteorological stations provide an overall solution for monitoring climatic conditions on your farm, pests and diseases, as well as localized weather forecasts. Meterological stations are modern solution powered by a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. They function via UMTS/CDMA modems for direct communication with the server and platform AgroMonitor. Due to the extensive capacity of the internal memory, it can manage up to 600 sensors and store data for up to about 1 month. The data is regularly transferred to the server and platform AgroMonitor, and you can access it from anywhere at any time in real time via the Internet, platform or mobile application. Also, the meteorological station can send notifications via SMS messages (the user defines the numbers to which notifications will be sent), in order to warn of critical phenomena such as frost, heavy rain, high temperature or some other phenomenon.

nMETOS FROST – Advanced Agroclimatic Monitoring for Frost Prediction

The nMETOS FROST is an advanced device designed to monitor agroclimatic factors and predict frost occurrences, providing real-time data from your field 24/7. Powered by two type D batteries, which last up to 100 days, this device continuously collects data from the moment it is activated. After 100 days, the batteries need to be replaced. The device is installed independently on a metal stand (not included in the price), but it can also be integrated into agrometeorological stations such as μMETOS and iMETOS.

For the device to function independently, a SIM card with an internet subscription is required to ensure seamless data transmission to the server. When frost conditions are likely, alerts are sent via SMS, app notifications, and email, allowing for timely responses to protect your crops from frost damage.

nMETOS FROST Key Features:

  • Monitors wet and dry bulb temperatures to detect frost risks.
  • Sends real-time alerts via SMS, email, and app when frost is imminent.
  • Offers precise timing for frost risk, enabling better crop protection decisions.
  • Provides real-time data from the field with constant monitoring.
  • Designed to be energy efficient, running on batteries for up to 100 days.
  • Can be integrated into existing agrometeorological systems or used as a standalone device.
  • Requires a SIM card with an internet subscription for data transmission.

This smart frost prediction tool helps farmers stay informed and take proactive measures to protect their crops from frost damage. By receiving accurate warnings at the right time, you can reduce the risk of severe crop loss and optimize the efficiency of frost mitigation tools.
