They are designed and developed to catch fruit flies (olivefruit fly, Mediterranean fruit fly, and many others). They include 3mm diameternets at the entrances so that houseflies and other unwanted insects that do noharm cannot enter the trap. The trap consists of a feeding container, bait, anda metal plate with adhesive paper. The nets can be removed to allow the captureof larger insects.
